Galway's Land National Park is a small 27-hectare park with dense montane forest. It is situated within the city limits of Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, about 2 kilometers east of the city center. On May 27, 1938, it was formally designated as a wildlife sanctuary. Galway's Land is one of the most significant birding sites in Sri Lanka and harbours about 20 rare migrant bird species and 30 native species.

Animal spotting - Amidst the lush green forests, you can spot wild boar, barking deer and many other animals.
Bird Watching - Endemic highland birds, including the Dull-blue Flycatcher, and Yellow-eared Bulbul, and more. Migratory birds include Indian Blue Robin, Pied Thrush lurking in the denser undergrowth. The Kashmir Flycatcher is another attractive bird species that you may spot.
